Delete your SASRec Health account

You can delete your SASRec Health account at any time. It happens straight away and cannot be undone, so take a copy of your record first if you want one (Settings, then "Take a copy of everything").

1.In the app

  • Open SASRec Health and unlock it with your PIN.
  • Go to Settings, then "Delete your account".
  • Read what is deleted and what is kept, tap "Delete my account", then "Yes, delete my account now".

Your account is closed at once, and the app removes its copy of your record from your phone and cancels your reminders.

2.On the web

Sign in at app.sasrecglobal.com with your Health ID and password, go to Settings, then "Delete your account", and follow the same two steps.

3.If you no longer have the app or your password

Write to us from the phone number or email address on your record, give your Health ID (the code on your card, starting with SGR), and ask for your account to be deleted. We will check that the request comes from you before deleting anything, so nobody else can delete your account. You can also visit a SASRec Hub with your card.

4.What is deleted

  • Your phone number and email address, and your language choice.
  • Your appointments and your answers to them.
  • Reminders and messages waiting to be sent.
  • Your sharing cards and your phone's keys.
  • Your sign-in: every password and sign-in token stops working at once, and the account cannot be opened again.
  • The photos from your identity check, if they had not already been deleted.

5.What is kept, and why

Health workers must keep the records they write, so we keep your clinical records (visits, medicines, allergies, test results, vital signs, pregnancy records, child growth, vaccinations and record photos), the identity record they belong to, your consent history, the log of who opened your record, any sharing card a health worker already scanned, the result of your identity check, and your deletion request. They are not used for anything else.
